This is a book cover I designed for Student Design Award 2018 by Penguin Random House. My work represents the power element in the fence and its shadows. This is enhanced by the sharp shape of the fence. I wanted to focus on the book’s principles and themes rather than explicitly show the narrative or characters themselves. The dominance of protagonists - the pigs - is represented by the pink colour of the background. Their hierarchical position is also shown by  size of the fence, placing the rest of the fence - all the other farm animals - lower.
